Thesis statement

Two videos may help us to write a thesis statement:

Both videos state that a thesis statement should include three pieces of information:

1. the topic/subject 
2. the claim/opinion
3. the blueprint of resons or evidences that support the claim. At this point, we may have three strong pieces of evidence that will persuade the reader to believe in the opinion/claim.

The list of evidence or points could go at the end of the Thesis Statement, at the beginning of the Thesis Statement or in the sentence after the Thesis Statement. Another possibility could be a Thesis Statement without a list of evidences or points.
